The Palmetto Health-University of South Carolina (USC) Medical Group Center offers comprehensive care for children and adults with tic disorders/ Tourette syndrome, as well as other commonly associated neurobehavioral conditions, such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Anxiety, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). The USC Center, directed by Dr. Rebecca Lehman, offers medication management, psychological, and family-based services. Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT), an evidence-based therapy for tics, is provided on campus by Kenneth Phelps, PhD, LMFT, who received training in this modality through the Tourette Syndrome Behavior Therapy Institute (TS-BTI).
